End of Spring Term Newsletter 2008

Dear Children, dear Parents,

From next term onwards ballet classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be back at Barton Primary School. I believe the problems we had have been resolved and I will be sending out letters regarding applicable school rules. I have asked that children are allowed to change in the teaching corridor and that parents are allowed to wait there while their children are dancing, and I was told both will be possible again.

Although I know that some of you preferred Harlton Village Hall, I feel the children do benefit from the larger space and the heated room they have in Barton.

I have decided to also move the Wednesday classes back to Barton. Although the Meridian hall is very nice it is very slippery and the children keep falling over. I have also taken into consideration that it is more convenient for most parents to come to Barton as their children attend Barton Primary School, and it would cut out the extra travel time.

I hope no more logistic changes will be necessary in the near future, and we will be as happy in Barton as we were in the past.

The timetable will be as it was before we left Barton in September. A copy will be handed out to each child. If you have not received a new timetable for Barton dance classes please come and see me. There are plenty of copies.

Best wishes,

Sylvia Armit
