End of Summer Term Newletter 2009
This term wil end with classes on Wednesday, 8 July but there are ballet and tap exams for some pupils, please see below.
Term dates Automn Term 2009
Autumn term 2009 will commence on Monday, 14 September and end on Saturday, 5 December.
Half term: 26 October - 1 November
Exams and Medal Tests July 2009
This term's Royal Academy exam session will be taking place at the Dance Studio, Paradise Centre Ely on Friday, 10 July. There will be a run-through with the pianist for Grades 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 on Thursday, 9 July, also at the Paradise Centre, Ely. If you have not been given a timetable for 9 July, please come and see me to get a copy. It will be really useful to hear the music played live, but the pianist needs to be paid. A contribution of £4.50 per student will cover the cost.
A Preparatory Tap Medal Test will be taking place on Monday, 13 July at Bourn Golf Club between 4:00pm and 5:00pm. More detail to follow before 6 July.
RAD Ballet Exams
The next exam date has already been booked for Friday, 13 November. For all pupils taking an exam in November the Autumn term will start on Monday, 7 Sept. Letters will be sent out to Students at the beginning of September.
Summer School, Haslingfield Village Hall
There are some places left, due to cancellations. Please let me know if you are interested. The dates are 17-20 August, 10:00am - 3:30pm.
Fees
Fees for the Autumn term will change as follows:
30 minute lesson £40 per term.
45 minute lesson £45 per term.
One hour lessen £50 per term or £6 per class.
all tap classes £20 per term.
